 Hello and welcome to YogaFun!


Let me introduce myself!

My name is Adele. I am a primary school teacher with 15 years teaching experience in schools. 

I  was thrilled to discover I could train and offer Yoga to children and in February 2006 trained as a ‘YogaBugs’ teacher. After a successful first year, I decided to extend my training and embarked on a ‘YogadUp’ course, offering children the opportunity to extend and build on their yoga practice.

I am now teaching regular classes in local nurseries and schools for children aged between 2.5 and 12years.

The benefits of yoga training are enormous and having taught in school for so many years, I can see the potential of this training.

To observe children achieve and delight in this fun approach to fitness is most beneficial, especially in today’s society where children can encounter so many stresses. I totally enjoy the opportunity to see children achieve and delight in this fun approach to fitness.

I have always enjoyed movement and creative opportunities and have practised many forms of dance to include :ballet tap, salsa and  yoga. I currently  attend regular Iyengar classes and workshops and would love to go on a yoga retreat one day!

My son, aged 11years also enjoys yoga and sees the postures as a personal challenge, particularly as he strives to improve his stability and flexibility in preparation for the football pitch!

My main aim this year to offer more  workshops in  primary schools, for children aged 4-12 years.  Offering workshop in this way enables many children to experience the delights of yoga and to then to find a class they can attend perhaps as an after school activity.
